Best Places for Last Minute Christmas Gifts in Sedalia Missouri

Spoiler Alert: You can get everything you need right here at Lamy’s.

If you’re reading this on Thursday, congratulations—you still have time.
If you’re reading this on Saturday… move quickly and maybe skip the small talk.

This weekend is our last hurrah before we close for the holidays, and if you’re still staring at an unfinished gift list thinking “surely inspiration will strike”—allow us to help.

The No-Stress, Zero-Wrapping Required Gifts

Let’s talk gift cards.
They don’t expire.
They don’t require batteries.
They never need to be returned.

  • No. 5 Bistro & Bar gift cards = future dinners, brunch dates, and “we should do this more often” moments.
  • Suites at 112 Reservation = an experience, not a thing. (Also: no clutter.)

Procrastinators, this is your season.

If You’re Still Shopping In Person…

Good news: we’ve got options.

  • Candles from the Candle Lab by Lamy’s – hand-poured, upcycled, and genuinely useful. (No one’s mad about a candle.)
  • Josey Records – vinyl, books, CDs, games, and gifts that actually feel personal.
  • Vino Vines or Birdfeeders from Upcycled by Lamy’s –for those who don’t kill plants and love to feed the birds
  • Kempf’s Custom Market – stocking stuffers, specialty foods, and the kind of items that make people say, “Where did you find this?” Seriously, have you been inside their market lately??

And if you’re wondering: Josey and Kempf’s are open normal hours, so even after we close No. 5 Bistro & Bar for the season the building still has plenty of holiday magic happening inside.

A Little Lamy’s Christmas History 🎄

When this building first opened—back when it was Levi’s Plant No. 5—Christmas looked very different.

  • Workers didn’t shop online (obviously).
  • Gift-giving was practical: useful items, handmade goods, and yes… probably a lot of socks.
  • The building was loud, busy, and full of people clocking long shifts right up until the holidays.
  • Decorations were minimal, but community was the point.

Fast-forward to now, and while the denim machines are gone, the spirit isn’t all that different. This place has always been about people coming together—whether it was to work, eat, shop, or just be part of something bigger than themselves.

Before We Take Our Winter Nap…

We’ll be open through Saturday, then we’re officially putting on our pajamas and disappearing until January. If you need:

  • last-minute gifts
  • gift cards
  • a meal you don’t have to cook
  • or one final excuse to wander the building

This is your moment.

After that?
Josey and Kempf’s will hold down the fort just fine.

See you before the doors close—and if not, we’ll catch you in the new year.
Same building. Same history. Same unapologetic Lamy’s energy. Come see us. History Loves Company.
