Lamy’s October Guide: Brunch, Live Events, and Our New Upcycled Facebook Page

October’s here, which means your feed is about to get clogged with pumpkin patches, hayrides, and people pretending to like candy corn. But over here at Lamy’s, we’ve got better things to do — like launching our brand-new Upcycled/Candle Lab by Lamy’s Facebook page.

This shiny new page is where you’ll find all things Upcycled by Lamy’s — candles poured into No. 5 wine bottles, vino vines, bird feeders, and wind chimes. Basically, we took our empty bottles and turned them into things you actually want instead of just sending them to the recycling bin. Bonus: this month we’re dropping a new fall candle — think spicy flannel and denim. Yes, it smells like fall, but without the “basic latte” energy.

And while you’re busy hitting “like,” here’s what’s happening this month:

• First Thursdays – Oct. 2
  New fall menu. Patio weather (for now). Drinks that taste better than your ex’s apologies.
• Second Sunday Brunch – Oct. 12
  The one where we pretend eggs + champagne is a balanced meal. Bonus: college football on the TVs.
• Blood Drive – Oct. 24
  Because nothing says “fall fun” like donating blood in a historic Levi’s building. (Don’t worry — snacks are included.)

• Paint the Town – Oct. 30
  Come sip wine and make “art.” Will it end up in the Louvre? No. On your mom’s fridge? Probably.
• Fall Catering
  Reunions, showers, parties, whatever. Book No. 5, take it to-go, or just let us make you look like the Pinterest host you’ll never actually be.
